Italian Bergamot, citrus bergamia, is a crisp tart citrus that many find to be uplifting and useful when one is feeling a little depressed. Bergamot is also a favored top note in many colognes and perfumes because of it's fresh arresting scent.

We sell the complete oil, not a bergaptene-free version, so do not wear this oil on the skin undiluted. The concentration should be no higher than 20 drops in one ounce of a carrier such as unscented lotion, carrier oil or aloe vera gel. For those who are especially sensitive to the sun, we suggest not wearing bergamot products if you are going out on sunny days.
