Lemongrass, cymbopogon flexuosus, is often used as an efficient cleanser for skin and hair. It is also helpful as an insect repellent and in headache and muscle ache formulas.
Dilute essential oils before applying them to your skin at a concentration no higher than 30 drops in one ounce of a carrier like unscented lotion, carrier oil or aloe vera gel.
